Two Saskatchewan Schools Win Prizes!

Thank you to the 128 Saskatchewan schools that entered our 25th Anniversary Contest
between January 15 and April 15, 2009.
Congratulations to our Winners:
- Venture Heights Elementary School in Martensville (north),
entered by Eleanor - Chaplin School (south), entered by Shayla
Contest Details:
- There are two prize packages. Each prize consists of a collection of books written by our authors AND a free author visit to the winning schools during Education Week in October 2009.
- Each book package is worth approximately $400. The author readings are sponsored by the Saskatchewan Writers Guild.
- One northern and one southern Saskatchewan school won a prize.
(North-south boundary runs through Saskatoon). - People entered the contest by filling in the entry form on this web page. We accepted one entry per person, but unlimited entries per school.
- The draw was held at the World Book Day event on April 23, 2009 in St. Gabriel School's gym in Regina.
- Winners were notified on April 23, 2009 by phone and/or email, and posted on this website on April 24, 2009.
- Details of the readings will be worked out with the winning schools.
